Today, this post is featuring another one of San Diego's most fun fitness inspirations, Eugene Kim!
Eugene is a trainer who is fully committed to what he does and works with a passion that lights up every workout. He does group training for the November Project in San Diego and people always rave about their experiences. He's incredibly in-tune with himself and his clients and their needs and knows how to get you the results you want. He also knows how to make working out a party!
FIRST EXPERIENCE
Eugene's November Project class was amazing! The group workout starts at 6:29 (yes, exactly then) and I rolled in maybe 6 or 7 minutes early to about 20 people. Within minutes, there were easily over 100 people there and everyone was greeting everyone with smiles and hugs and enthusiasm. It was easily the most encouraging workout I’ve ever been to!
Chalk full of teamwork, paired exercises, unique workout routines (i.e. handshake wars) and tons of high-fives along the way, this workout was nothing short of invigorating!
PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH EUGENE
Let's get to know this phenomenal trainer a bit better!
1) Who’s your ideal client?
I like working with anyone! I invite anyone and everyone to November Project because everyone benefits from community, human connection and inspiration. November Project is far more than just a workout group and everyone should have a chance to experience it.
2) What’s your favorite Organifi product?
I'm really digging the Chocolate Complete Protein* shake with a scoop of powdered peanut butter mixed in almond milk.
3) How would you describe your unique training style and how did you figure it out?
I'm all about listening to my body. I don't adhere to strict training schedules or routines. I focus on keeping things diverse and dynamic. But I'll never ignore my body when it tells me, "not today." It's all about balance.
4) What’s your “catch phrase" that you say a lot during your class?
"You got this." It's all about positive reinforcement and letting people know that they can push themselves to heights they've never been.
5) What is one thing people wouldn't guess about you?
I've just recently gotten into live music and festivals - I'm going to live shows almost weekly these days!
6) What would you say people in the industry best know you for?
I think people know me best for being everywhere. I like all kinds of fitness, so I'm always visiting different instructors and trying new studios.
7) Where can people follow you online?
